United States Healthcare

Healthcare coverage is a major issue these days. Many International Governments provide Healthcare to citizens at no cost. Many Americans believe that this is a moral practice that should be adopted by the U.S. government. Congress has been debating the issue for months now. Obama used the issue to promote his campaign, but has yet to make a real difference with the issue.

Healthcare has always been an issue, but it has become even more of a hot topic these days thanks to the nation’s economic instability. The recent Recession was the worth economic down turn since the Great Depression. For all intense purposes it was a Depression. Many Americans lost their jobs to layoffs and budget cuts. Even more Americans suffered pay cuts and demotions.

With less money and no employer benefits, a large majority of the country was left without Health Insurance. Without the help of company benefits, many Americans can’t afford expensive health care. It doesn’t come cheap in this country that is for sure.

With less money each month to pay bills and cover expenses, many American families have opted to canceling their Health Insurance. When you don’t have money to feed or clothe your family, this can seem like a viable option. But what happens when your young one comes down with something serious? You might take your own health for granted, but do you really want to put your child’s health in danger?

With 46 million Americans uninsured, and millions more underinsured, many look to congress to come up with a solution soon. Meanwhile, Americans will continue to grow restless without healthcare coverage.
